We are looking for a **Project Controller **to be hired with a permanent contract in our offices in **Milan.

He/ she will be required to give support to one or more project teams by providing comprehensive financial support and implementation of project management controls.

Siemens Large Drives Applications (A Siemens Portfolio Company) engineers and produces heavy-duty electrical drive systems for medium and high voltage ranges: electrical motors, converters, and generators.

Additionally, we offer special large drives for ships, mines and rolling mills.

**Your Challenge

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, reporting & analysis, business operational improvement, and month end project settlement activities.

This highly visible position requires regular interaction with internal and external customers as well as interactions with senior level staff members.

In particular he/ she will:

- Prepare project costs calculations and documentation

- Prepare Estimate-At-Completion (EAC) and variance analysis (budget vs actual)

- Ensure timely and accurate project billings (Cost Plus, T&M, and FFP)

- Supervise and work to increase project cash flow

- Prepare risk and opportunity assessments; develop and implement plan to mitigate risks

- Prepare detailed monthly project rolling forecasts as well as monthly Forecast reporting and Budgeting process

- Basic knowledge of the construction of a financial statement

- Support internal and external audits

- Ensure project accounting follows Government accounting standards as well as company policies and procedures

- Bring in defined business controls required to support company SOX, compliance, and level of authority requirements

- Interact with support teams including Corporate Accounting, IT, HR, Contracts, and Supply Chain Management as well as with HQ colleagues

**What you need to bring with you

- Consistent experience relating to Program Controls, Project Controlling (cost-schedule-performance),

- Financial Analysis, and Cost build up

- Experience in developing project pricing models and performing scenario analysis

- Strong organizational and analytical skills

- Detail orientation and ability to prioritize work and multitask effectively

- Ability to work well in both a team setting and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You should also be motivated to lead change and foster an environment to help achieve business results

- Effective communication with all levels of management both orally and in written form

- Advanced knowledge MS Office tools and SAP (CO-PA module)

- Be a role model for openness and inclusiveness as a non-negotiable cultural element
