FieldCore, part of GE Vernova is looking for an exceptional Project Controls Intern to join our Operations and Productivity team based in Italy.

As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world's energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.
Let's Talk about the Role
As a FieldCore intern you will partner with the cross-functional teams to build and execute world-class projects, programs and solutions.
You will provide full-service support in the areas of building business/market cases for novel solutions with consideration for the growth of our company and ever-changing market dynamics.
You will focus on learning how FieldCore runs and be expected to gain valuable insight that can further your interest in your chosen career field.
In addition to your duties within the Productivity department, you will have the opportunity to meet managers and executive members of the team.
You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of Project Controls.
The internship will be 30% remote, 70% in-office depending on proximity to office and be expected to be available 40 hours/week.
How You Will Make a Difference
The global project controls COE intern will work closely with the intern leader to monitor and improve the Project Controls role through tools automation and implementing strategic process change.
To do this you will:
Work closely with other team members to provide training supportTroubleshoot PCA issues related to tools and process; preferred candidate will have expert excel skillsProvide support in all aspects of the job assignmentAssist with the implementation of new initiativesCreate and maintain PowerPoint presentationsExecute on project goalsAssist the intern leader with planning and organizing tasksPrepare and present reports as neededShadow multiple positions and train in a variety of tasksAchieve learning and performance goals agreed for the internshipUnderstand and comply with FieldCore work hours, policy and proceduresComplete assigned trainingsSkills For Success Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Fluent in EnglishSolid problem-solving skillsAgile learner; open, proactive and engagedAbility to take initiativeGoal-oriented team playerPersonal leadership capabilityBusiness acumen and understanding practical business principlesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-directed and able to work without supervisionEnergetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideasStrong interest in technologyProficient in data management and analysis, with the ability to produce comprehensive reports tailored for all relevant stakeholdersKnowledge of Oracle Primavera is highly desirable / constitutes a preferred qualificationWe're determined to be the best place to grow.
