JOB SUMMARY - Project Coordinator, based onsite in Florence, KY
The Project Coordinator will assist the Senior Operations Manager in coordinating operations tasks for both internal teams and external clients. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage timelines and project plans. The Project Coordinator will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and efficient project execution across departments.
What can you expect to do?
Support Operations : Assist the Senior Operations Manager in coordinating daily operational tasks to support both internal and external project needs.
Project Planning : Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and task dependencies, to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
Communication and Coordination : Act as the primary point of contact between cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals, requirements, and timelines.
Data and Reporting : Track project progress, prepare status reports, and escalate any issues to the Senior Operations Manager to facilitate decision-making.
Process Improvement : Identify potential areas for improvement in project coordination and operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Documentation : Maintain organized records of project plans, meeting notes, and other relevant documentation to ensure transparency and traceability.
What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience : Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in project coordination or a similar role, preferably within manufacturing or electronics.
Skills : Strong project management skills with experience in timeline planning and resource management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Proficiency in project management software (e. g. , MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and electronics industry practices is a plus.
Proactive Problem Solver : Able to anticipate issues and take initiative to resolve them.
Adaptability : Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
