About the Role: We are hiring on behalf of a leading global renewable energy company committed to driving the transition to a sustainable energy future. The company specializes in developing, constructing, and operating solar and wind energy projects across Europe.

As a Project Developer , you will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and managing renewable energy projects from inception to completion. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful solar and wind energy initiatives in either Lisbon or Milan , working closely with an industry leader in renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities Project Development :Conduct market and site feasibility studies to identify opportunities for solar and wind energy projects. Secure land agreements by building relationships with landowners and local authorities. Oversee permitting processes, ensuring compliance with national and local regulations in Portugal or Italy. Stakeholder Management :Engage with regulatory bodies, municipalities, and utility companies to obtain required approvals. Foster positive relationships with local communities and address concerns effectively. Technical Coordination :Collaborate with engineering, environmental, and grid connection teams to optimize project designs. Manage environmental and social impact assessments. Financial Support :Contribute to financial modeling and budget preparation for project investments. Work with internal teams to secure funding and partnerships. Project Handover :Coordinate with construction teams to ensure a seamless transition from development to execution. Maintain thorough documentation and report progress to stakeholders. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Renewable Energy, Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in developing renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar and/or wind. Strong knowledge of permitting processes and energy regulations in Portugal or Italy. Proven track record of successful land acquisition and project permitting. Skills: Strong project management skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Portuguese or Italian , with fluency in English. Proficiency in project management software and familiarity with GIS or CAD tools is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
