My client oversees the identification, origination, development, financing, and implementation of grid-scale Battery Energy Storage projects, overseeing the entire development lifecycle from concept to the delivery of investable assets. The company primarily operates in the fast-growing Italian market, with short-term plans to enter additional major EU markets for Energy Storage.

Responsibilities Play a key role in moving Energy Storage projects forward, from initial planning to completion. Lead project teams, both inside and outside the company, including technical experts. Make sure projects stay on schedule. Build and manage relationships with outside groups like landowners and government agencies. Handle discussions with TSO Terna and others about connecting to the power grid. Check project permits to make sure they're complete and follow the rules. Help make big decisions about which projects to focus on. Stay updated on industry news to spot risks and opportunities quickly. Qualifications and Experience At least 3-5 years of experience in Renewables or Energy, working on projects or in management roles. Background in similar sectors like Renewable energy development, utilities, or engineering. Understanding of how Renewable projects are developed in Italy. Experience with Energy Storage is a bonus, but not necessary. The team will offer training. Comfortable interacting confidently with various stakeholders. Able to travel occasionally on short notice. Languages & Others Fluent in English and Italian; other European languages desirable. Based in Milan, or able to commute.
