Independently manages evaluation and testing of Components of Household and Commercial end use applications. Determines project scope, requirements including clients' needs, test methods, costs etc. , and develops a preliminary plan for the certification process.

Examines technical documents, samples and construction of the products.

Conducts or witnesses tests at client sites or third party laboratories.

Prepares datasheets and analyzes test data.

Evaluates test results and creates test reports/Certification documents.

Communicates technical issues, UL procedures, project duration, required samples etc. with clients.

Keeps clients updated on any issues or concerns that might impact or change the project scope or specifications.

Qualifications:

University Degree in Engineering (preferably Electronics, Energy or Industrial Automation Engineering) or equivalent work experience. Direct/Indirect knowledge of product testing, verification and validation, and ability to read schematics - ideally knowledge of conformity/safety standards (training will be provided). Experience and knowledge of Motor/Components testing/certification would be a plus. Strong command of Italian and fluent English level is a must. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service. Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with Engineering and other Laboratory Personnel to complete projects in a timely manner with high quality. Demonstrated ability to analyze special testing needs. Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers. Interview Steps:
