We operate in the mechatronic, industrial and technological sectors, offering advanced solutions and collaborating with strategic partners at an international level About the Role We are now looking for a Project Engineer to join the new Product Design, Research and Development team who, reporting to the Engineering Manager, will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the entire new product development phase and/or improvement of the current product, from the conception of the concept, to the structural and fluid dynamic calculations for verification, to the construction and assembly drawings for the realization, to the progress of the project plan, to the relationships with customers and suppliers.

Main responsibilities • Coordinate the development and the industrialisation of the assigned product (calculations, tests, validation, design).

• Define product specifications in collaboration with the sales team.

• Carry out feasibility analyses and related generation of assembly and part models and layout studies.

• Design products in compliance with directives and legal regulations, with the aim of meeting the customer's real expectations.

• Act as technical support towards customers and suppliers.

• Check on: construction drawings, sketches and bills of materials (both of the product and the equipment to make it).

• Define control specifications, product testing.

• Analyse the design according to FMEA methodology (D-FMEA, P-FMEA).

• Act as trait d'union with the departments involved in the project (Testing, Quality, Purchasing, Production. . . ).

Requirements: • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• At least 5 years experience in mechanical design, preferably in the field of applied fluid dynamics.

• Knowledge of FMEA methodologies for defect reduction.

• Analytical, results-oriented and problem-solving mindset.

• Interpersonal and communication skills.

• Aptitude to work in a cross-functional perspective.

• Propensity for continuous improvement of both processes and results.

• Motivation to make an effective impact in the organisation.

Workplace: Corsico (Milano).
