Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow. As one of our engineers is embracing another project into our Group, we are now looking for a professional eager to join our Engineering Team in Varisco, Atlas Copco Padova.

As Project Engineer, you'll be part of the R&D team with the goal to support the further development of our projects in accordance with national and international legislations and our corporate guidelines and requirements.

Varisco Product Company is a well-established and ever-expanding company that manufactures pumps for dewatering and industrial applications. In 2016, Varisco was acquired by Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational company with 150 years of history behind it.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: CAD design and creation of all the drawings necessary for the construction of production prototypes. Support feasibility studies of new projects, gathering accurate information. Draft critical detail layouts and designs in order to build a functional prototype. Update drawings, lists, and related documents as a result of changes. Follow the development of the prototype and the results of the tests to verify their adherence to the technical specifications. Production support during the start-up phase. Create documents related to the release in production. Support in the drafting of the machines' manuals. Maintenance of drawings, bills of materials, and related documents following updates or changes that have occurred. What we expect from our candidates: Master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar; specialization in hydraulics would be a plus. Good knowledge of pumps is a must. Experience in designing, castings, and machining. Experience using CFX simulation software, CAD, Solidworks, or similar software. Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills. Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills. Proactive and able to successfully work in a team. Fluent in Italian and good command of English is essential (both spoken and written).
