Position Summary You will be part of a project in San Giorgio in Bosco Factory (PD), responsible for delivering engineering projects by standardizing processes and managing capital investments.
In this role, you will plan the technical side of an investment project ensuring a design for manufacturing excellence (free of waste) and lead the execution (from project charter until vertical start-up) by managing a cross-functional team whose objective is to oversee the capital investments relating to the company's fixed assets.
This could involve the relocation and optimization of the existing fixed asset base and/or the purchase of new fixed assets.
A Day in the Life as Project Engineering Manager Support the End-to-End Project Manager in defining the project team, project scope, success criteria, and milestone deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Ensure by design the workers and operators' safety during both the construction and the ongoing operation of the plant. Leverage feedback from previous projects to prevent waste and optimize execution. Ensure Category standards and best practices are leveraged in the design to enable Manufacturing Excellence by leading the Target Setting Allocation exercise for at least the bottleneck and critical equipment. Lead the team and coordinate the contribution of all internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the fixed asset side of the project is implemented (e. g. , buildings and equipment construction, testing, installation, and commissioning) in accordance with the defined category standards, timing, cost, and quality. Coordinate efforts with the start-up manager and their team to ensure a Vertical Start-up. Be the engineering project team leader, integrating, motivating, providing feedback, coaching, developing, managing, and evaluating team members while being their support and liaison with the steering committee and all the project's stakeholders. What will make you successful? Developed analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to create good partnerships/relationships. Clear and transparent communication. Master's degree in mechanical, E&A, Process, Industrial engineering, or similar. Independent usage of digital tools: Office365, MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit. Minimum Requirements Mechanical Engineering Major or equivalent. At least 5 years of experience in Project Management for Engineering Projects in factories of the FMCG industry, with previous experience in bottling and Maintenance areas appreciated. Open to mobility condition in Italy. Fluent in Italian and English.
