**Purpose of the job**:

Manage the technical contractual scope of the project ensuring its delivery according to the quality, cost, performance and scheduled commitment originally agreed and, if applicable, updated as a result of negotiated variation orders.

Lead the Project Engineering teams under Project Manager's coordination.

Projects to be followed are related to: Rolling Stock systems, particurally traction drives, TCMS, firefighting, driverdesks, train communications network and service and maintenance.

**Key Accountability**:

Manage the technical contractual scope of the project

Validate the technical design choices with the peers and Solution Director

Manage the project solution, including the customization and specific configuration of the generic solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance (QCDP) commitments

Be accountable for Engineering WP QCD

Functionally lead the project engineering team

Manage the interface with the project core team (industrialisation, sourcing, installation, test and commissioning etc.

)

During project warranty, coordinate actions to support resolution of pending technical issues following Project Warranty Manager (PrWM) requirements

Support PrQSM to consolidate the REX of the Project and the Reliability Growth

**Performance measurements**:

Project QCDP (quality, cost, delivery and performance)

Project Specification, including Design documents & Projects V&V documents approval status

Project requirement database maturity (it covers "traceability & coverage of requirements by V&V")

Assessment results based on internal audits and process inspections (applied in the project)

**Position Qualifications**:

Engineering background including project deployment full lifecycle view

Hands-on experience on functional or hierarchical team management

Cost and planning control experience in engineering scope

Hands-on experience on Customer relationship in contractual situations
