The CO2 Battery is a standardized, modular product which uses off-the-shelf industrial components with well-established, global supply chains, enabling Energy Dome to rapidly scale-up and accelerate widespread adoption of the technology in key global markets. As a result of this rapid growth, today, we are looking for a: Project Manager with a solid understanding of industrial, power or chemical plant design principles, and a deep desire to be an active contributor in the energy transition industry. Role and Responsibilities Managing the overall design activity, ensuring efficient planning, resource allocation, and execution while maintaining alignment with project timelines and objectives. Overseeing project scope definition, evaluating technical specifications, and establishing schedules, document lists, and reporting structures to ensure seamless project execution. Acting as the primary interface between engineering, procurement, and project management, ensuring technical solutions align with cost, quality, and delivery requirements. Tracking and controlling project costs, proactively identifying and mitigating deviations while optimizing engineering and procurement strategies. Identifying and implementing value engineering opportunities, ensuring technical feasibility while enhancing cost efficiency and operational performance. Leading coordination across internal teams (Quality, Logistics, Procurement) to ensure smooth workflows, timely decision-making, and risk mitigation. Ensuring supplier and subcontractor engagement aligns with technical and commercial expectations, supporting procurement in vendor selection and contract execution. Supervising design reviews, inspections, and FAT activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and contractual obligations. Facilitating cross-functional collaboration among engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, I&C, drafting) to drive alignment and efficiency. Maintaining proactive communication with customers and suppliers, addressing technical and commercial aspects to mitigate risks and drive successful project execution. Ensuring timely delivery of all required project documentation, including technical specifications, vendor books, manuals, and as-built documentation, in compliance with project and contractual standards. Supporting risk assessment and change management processes, ensuring that project modifications are well-documented, aligned with financial objectives, and properly negotiated with stakeholders. Representing the engineering team in strategic project discussions, including design reviews, inspections, supplier meetings, and customer interactions, ensuring technical and financial alignment. Driving continuous process improvement within engineering execution, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and project outcomes. Required Qualifications Degree in Energy, Mechanical Engineering or related fields; At least 8 years of experience within Equipment Manufacturers/EPC Contractors operating in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Power Generation markets; Besides Italian, fluency in professional English; Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad to meet our suppliers and join your colleagues for plant Commissioning, Start up and tests; A genuine interest in clean technologies and energy transition.
