**Position**:

We are looking**for a **Project Engineering Manager**for our **Engineering Excellence Center** based in **Fano**.

He/she will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities of the EPC project during the detail design and Construction phase, ensuring that time, cost, quality, safety and environmental protection objectives of the project are successfully met.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- ensuring the review of contractual documents within his/her area of responsibility;

- ensuring the carrying out of all engineering activities aimed at the procurement of materials and construction services and the preparation of construction documents, in accordance with defined plans and consistent with the construction schedules;

- coordinating the Project Specialist Leaders for the preparation of the Project Master Document List;

- taking part in the general planning and scheduling of the project, including the architecture of detail engineering outsourcing;

- preparing the MR for the activities to be outsourced and manage the subsequent Technical evaluation of the Bid received;

- ensuring that the execution of engineering activities carried out externally is correctly supervised and coordinate by PSLs and managing the associated contracts;

- interfacing with Procurement to monitor the Inquiry Status Report in order to ensure that the Material Requisitions and the Technical Evaluations are consistent with the Purchase Order schedule placement;

- ensuring that the technological problem areas of supplies have been adequately considered during the definition of the Vendor lists and subsequently in the technical evaluation phase;

- supporting PM in relations with Client and/or Licensors regarding process and specialist engineering problems, preparing Technical Query and/or Concession Request, if needed;

- assist the Project Manager in the preparation of claims or change orders requests towards Client;

- ensure that Commissioning criteria are correctly reflected in the detail engineering;

- ensuring that the adopted technical solutions are in line with the project's cost and time schedule objectives, taking appropriate action to avoid, absorb or minimize deviations;

- follow up Document Controller to verify the correct flow of the vendor documents, ensuring approval by disciplines and highlighting corrective actions needs;

- organizing Design Review meetings;

- ensuring the availability of the Commissioning and Start-up Plans, together with the Operating Manuals and Mechanical Manuals;

- ensuring project engineering close-out in accordance with the defined schedules;

- taking care of the "as built" document preparation at the end of the project;

- issuing a "Lessons Learned" report at the end of the project.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as Project Engineering Manager.

- With excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Driven and focused, committed on high level of performance timely delivery of projects.

- Willingness to be a change agent.

- People management attitude, detail oriented and methodical.

- Collaboration and teamwork.

- Fluent in English.
