Project Engr Ii
Purpose of the Job**:
Work closely with Project Manager, managing complex Automation projects with Control and Safety Systems.
**Principal Responsibilities**:
- Be the main technical interface with Clients and Suppliers
- Build project team and manage internal resources (local and remote project people)
- Design, issue project documents, procure Honeywell material and 3rd party goods and services, test supplied hardware and configuration, ship all goods with relevant certificates and final documentation
- Expedite activities and grant deliveries and quality
- Support site activities, finding the right resources
- Build and maintain long term relationships with existing customers and suppliers
- Be informed on last technical issues and workaround
- Knowledge of Honeywell hardware solutions (Experion, C300 and Safety Manager as minimum) and typical 3rd party items (marshalling cabinets, power distribution panels, interposing relay panels, auxiliary consoles, cables, etc)
- Use Honeywell tools and follow Honeywell Standard Operating Procedures

- Lead internal resources and build project team.
Supervise project team activities throughout project life.
**Budgetary Responsibilities**:
- Work with PM to keep project budget under control.
**Geographic Scope & Travel Requirements**:
- Work with all Customers, available to meet them abroad and to support site activities if requested.
**Key Performance Measures**:
- High billability on projects
- Obtain project cost saving and optimize project cash
- Increase use of Global Engineering Services (remote teams)
- Use Standard Build documents and tools, follow standard procedures
- Keep skills updated
- Provide feedback on internal tools and procedures
- Drive productivity and upsell
**THE CANDIDATE**:
**Education Required (academic and/or technical education)**:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree (Electronics/Automation engineering)
**Work Experience Preferred (area and length of experience)**:
- 3 years working experience as Lead Engineer of Automation projects
- Proven track record in executing Automation projects for Oil&Gas or other markets (like Pharma)
- Working experience with main EPC companies (Engineering Procurement and Construction - Saipem, Tecnimont, Technip, etc) and O&G End Users.
**Technical Skills & Specific Knowledge Required (specific skills and knowledge required for the position)**:
- Good technical background
- PC-literate (MS Office, Internet)

organisational skills, ability to lead a team, etc.
)**:
- Ability to work in a team with common goals
- Able to take commitments and to bring results
- Willing to learn and study new products and solutions
- Good communication and listening skills
**Language Requirements (written and spoken skills)**:
