Our client is an international and historical company operating in the **Oil&Gas field**, especially in the realization of **Offshore & Onshore Energy plants and structures**.

**PROJECT INSTRUMENTAL LEADER - OIL & GAS
Location: Assago
**Scope of the Role
To **co-ordinate, develop and check the project electrical discipline engineering** from bid phase, through conceptual, feed and detailed design EPC projects, with respect to the specific requirements, to ensure integration with the other disciplines and to provide **support** for the **Project management services, procurement and construction**.
**General Responsibilities
In pursuing the business objectives, to promote, support and control compliance with the Code of Ethics and the observation of Corporate Values;
To provide an on-going information - as to business performance, significant events, issues and situations at risk, and etc.
- to his manager, integrating information gathered directly with details received by all Function Managers, and proposing, where possible, suggestions or corrective and improvement action.
**Specific Responsibilities
- To verify the contractual documentation that pertain to the Discipline, with the supervision of the Discipline Manager, and to highlight to the PEM immediately any anomalies and lack of the necessary elements for the engineering development;
- In agreement with the Project execution strategies specified by the PEM, to define and share with the Discipline Manager the discipline engineering development methods, information tools, necessary resources, planning;
- To define and share the estimation hours to completion with the Discipline Manager and to communicate it to the PEM, pointing out in a timely manner possible gap from the budget and Project planning;
- To manage the development of the project discipline engineering, with respect to contractual and legal requirements, time and discipline budget, QHSE requirements and discipline technical methods;
- **To manage on-off and control valves, field instruments and control systems (ICSS (DCS, ESD and F&G control systems);
- **To check instrumentation plant design by interacting both in 3d and 2d environments (equipments layouts, cable routings, etc. . . )
- To carry out material requisitions, reviews of suppliers' quotations, technical bids evaluations, follow up of technical documentation;
- In compliance with the Discipline Manager guidelines, to co-ordinate the discipline resources assigned for the Project;
- To ensure the harmonized development of the engineering with the other disciplines and the performance of the multi-disciplinary technical activities;
- To take part in the Project co-ordination and verification activities, reporting regularly to the PEM the progress status of the discipline, the project changes and any technical problems that can affect the contractual requirements;
- To collaborate with the Project Management, Procurement and Construction services and to ensure the performance of support activities, both technical-documental and for the assistance to construction and testing phases on site or at the Vendor's premises if required.
- **To Interact with Customers, Design Agency and/or Supplier counterparts **to solve moderate to complex design, development, production and acceptance issues**;
- **To attend factory acceptance tests and/or inspections **for seller produced instrumentation systems in cooperation of the Inspection Department or independently**;
- **To provide technical support and trouble-shooting **in particularly critical project tasks to instrumentation plants installations personnel;
- **To prepare projects closeout reports **and lesson learned;
- **To provide support service to order preparation for project proposal packages
**Technical Knowledges
- Masters degree in **electrical engineering** (highly recommended) or Technical Diploma in Electrotechnical;
- Knowledge of the **English language** (European Level B1-C1);
- Knowledge of planning systems and cost control, basic computer systems (Microsoft Office) and programs relative to the discipline.
- Knowledge of **3d based softwares** (Aveva PDMS/E3D, Intergraph Smart 3D) and 2d (Autocad)
- Knowledge of electric **power system data tools** (SPEL, Aveva, Electrical, etc. . )
- Knowledge and managing ability of power system simulating and design tools (ETAP, AMPERE)
- Knowledge of lighting systems calculation tools (Dialux)
**Additional requirements
He/she will generally be based in Assago (MI), nevertheless due to project requirements, he/she can be asked to give availability for mid-long term assignments to different job locations (worldwide)
