Project Leader
We are looking for a Project Leader with mechanical engineering skills to join our R&D team.
The candidate will evaluate, monitor, and manage the product development in terms of costs, time, performance, and technical suppliers.

Overview: A Project Leader is a professional who leads people and ensures a project is carried through.
The Project Leader engages the team, motivating them, taking care of their needs, and maintaining a friendly and productive work environment.
Some of their primary responsibilities include:
Define the product's user requirements and understand the key product features (acoustic, electronic, and aesthetic); Attend meetings with other leaders; Develop progress reports regarding projects they're working on; Keep the team focused on the project and moving forward to reach its goal; Test product prototypes; Main responsibilities / activities: Experience in project development and management in the Acoustic/Mechanic Projects field (SW requested: SolidWorks).
Find solutions and innovative paths to achieve project results.
Create and develop full projects or parts of it, providing 3D drawings; Manage and lead the project team to achieve the project Quality Delivery Cost (QDC) objectives (estimate, plan, and track project development activities); Manage and lead the suppliers involved in the product development process; Take ownership of project issues and work closely with the team for resolution; Make recommendations to prevent problems and manage potential risks when necessary (Realize Risk Analysis and priority list project); Develop WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) to manage complex projects; Develop project timelines (with Wrike – Project or other similar software) for project tasks and ensure target dates are met for multiple projects; Carry out resource allocation with a RACI matrix; Provide needed documents for each milestone.
Ensure the project timing with the stakeholders involved; Support RFI/RFQ activities in providing feasible work breakdown, manpower planning, and development schedule; Manage the entire project development life cycle according to internal processes and related steps (similar to APQP standard); Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, particularly ISO9001; Manage and implement DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis) or similar documents; Collect final information in a single document to obtain approval (PPAP: Production Part Approval Process).
Minimum Requirements for the position: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field; At least two years of experience in the industrial/acoustical field; Willingness to travel within the Italian plants or to key suppliers; High capability for analysis, planning, monitoring, and control; Ambition, organization, resourcefulness, and leadership.
