JOB TITLE: PROJECT MANAGEMENT ENGINEER

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: As a Project Management Engineer, you will join our Department SINDIP (Project Portfolio Direction), in the business line INFRA, conducting the following activities:
Contribute to the achievement of results and maximization of performances for all the executive projects in Portfolio by defining and implementing the best strategies and technical-executive solutions for the fulfilment of contractual commitments and defined economic and operational objectives;contribute to ensuring the institution of the project organizations, as well as the supervision of the projects assigned to the individual Project Directors/Project Managers, which guarantee, for each initiative, the connection and integration of the competences made available by the different corporate and business line functions involved in the development of the activities;provide support to projects by intervening in the management of critical issues of particular relevance and directing corrective actions, also by ensuring the activation of the necessary contributions from all corporate functions and business lines;participating in the bid formulation process by ensuring the definition of the fundamental choices and project architecture, verifying the continuous alignment of the individual offers with the defined strategies and implementation solutions, also ensuring contribution in the definition of the pricing policy;contribute to ensuring the development and availability of project management methodologies, techniques and tools in the relevant field, ensuring the development of related documentation;supervise the planning and cost control activities supported by the other project organization roles, implementing the corrective actions needed to achieve the established project objectives and ensure the issue of project reports (including the economics);contribute to ensure the definition and preparation of the Project Execution Plan addressing, in particular, the potential risks in all critical areas;supervise all project activities with regards to Quality, HSE and Sustainability topics, supported by the other project organization roles;facilitate the generation of Project and Portfolio dashboards/reports to the Division Management, to the Client and internal to Saipem (Project Status Report, in primis);contribute to maintain a valuable trusting relationship with the Clients/Partners and monitor their satisfaction, supported by the other project organization roles and functions;contribute to ensuring the transfer from the projects to the various company and business line functions of feedback, data and elements useful for the improvement of processes and the definition of the most appropriate strategies and methods of organization;contribute to ensuring, in association with the risk management functions, the implementation of risks and opportunities and knowledge methodology and tools;ensure the issue of completion and delivery certificates;ensure the assistance to the Client during the guarantee period. QUALIFICATION: Civil / Management Engineering Degree
KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Fluent.
LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Permanent Contract.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: About 10 years of experience in Infrastructures sector (mainly railways, subways and roads).
IT SKILLS: Microsoft Project / Office package/Artificial Intelligence/Primavera-Tilos
SOFT SKILLS: Project management skills, ability to relate profitably with internal and external customers and with public and private stakeholders in complex and highly challenging contexts.
NICE TO HAVE: Record of working within global large teams in multi-disciplinary projects is highly preferred; demonstrable experience in project management activities, tools and techniques.
LOCATION: Milan, availability for national and international travel.
