Project Management Office Manager
The Project control PMO Manager will:
- Support Project Planners in day-to-day activities and crucial decisions
- Prepare Portfolio Scenario Analysis and domino effects in terms of time / costs / LDs / Risk
- Support Document Controllers in day-to-day activities and crucial decisions
- Manage DC workstreams for top management and client reporting (KPIs)
- Attend meetings, support top management for company strategic decisions
- Prepare reports and analysis for Head of PM dept (On time delivery, portfolio S-Curves, productivity trend etc)
- Support PDs and PMs for projects start up and crucial moments inside project lifecycle
- Monitor and update several PMO tools for internal management (PM seniority, Project complexity matrix, PM workload, Career Path etc)
- Support the Head of PM Dept for change management workstreams (including taking initiatives)
- Support the Bid teams in budget calculations
- Providing work force planning estimates during tenders
- Attend negotiation meetings with Customers during tender and project execution
- Coordinate with finance dept for Cost Controlling activities and development
- Hire internal and external resources when needed (and provide the proper internal support)
- Manage Project Control and PMO audits both internal and external
- Attend client meetings for Project Control and PMO
- Write and update procedures and work instructions for Project Control and PMO
- Manage Share Point accesses and activities for the all portfolio
- Audit internally different processes for several disciplines
- Travel for meetings and for resources support (Europe / ME / US)
We are looking for a Project Control PMO Manager with the following skills and motivations:
- More than 10 professional years of experience in project controls (planning - doc control - cost controlling) and PMO
- Experience in defining and producing reports / dashboards / KPIs / portfolio analysis
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
- Effective communication skills
- Proven track record in successfully managing Project Control or PMO teams / depts
- Understanding Risk identification and Risk Quantification (Monte Carlo/ Primavera Risk)
- Significant experience in energy business is preferred
- Bachelor of Science in relevant degrees (Engineering, Science, Business).
- Proficiency use of MS Project and Primavera P6 - Tilos is a plus
- Knowledge of Primavera Schedule Risk Analysis
- Knowledge of DC processes and Document Management System
- Excellent knowledge of Project Management processes and rules (PMBOK) - PMP certification is a plus
- Excellent use of Ms Office
- Fluent in Italian and English
