The intern supports the implementation of Kuehne+Nagel's continuous improvement program (Production System) and will focus on the preparation of Operational Excellence Standards and Training Program for our brand-new highly automated warehousing activity of an e-commerce customer.

He/she helps to build a Continuous Improvement culture that the site will need to embrace

- ** Your Role **:The intern supports the implementation of Kuehne+Nagel's continuous improvement program (Production System) and will focus on the preparation of Operational Excellence Standards and Training Program for our brand-new highly automated warehousing activity of an e-commerce customer.

He/she helps to build a Continuous Improvement culture that the site will need to embrace

- ** Your Responsibilities**:

Elaborate accurate and detailed Work Instructions for all major shopfloor processes (e. g Unloading, Picking, Packing, etc. )

in order to ensure predictable, consistent and high quality performances;

Support training definition and delivery to operators in order to guarantee compliance with standards;

Support definition and deployment of Operational Excellence Standards (5S, Visual Management, Production System Boards );

Work together with the Project management team to define WIP areas and consumables inventory management;

Support deployment of Stand Up Meetings and SQCDEP principles in collaboration with Project Management and Production System team;

Support the team to develop tools for tracking warehouse productivity and equipment downtime.

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

Educated to Bachelor/master degree in Supply Chain / Management / Industrial Engineering

Proven interest in Supply Chain and Automation environment

Demonstrates an interest for continuous improvement, having excellent communication and interpersonal skills is a must

Is process driven with strong analytical and problem solving skills, a Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative and is able to work well in a fast-paced environment

Advanced skills in MS office tools

Fluent in Italian, advanced in English
