As a result of the growth in the European Market, the firm is looking for experienced Data Centre Project Managers (CX) to join their team in Italy.

As a Data Centre Project Manager , you will play a crucial role in managing projects related to the commissioning and performance acceptance testing of building control and monitoring systems, HVAC, fire suppression systems, and electrical infrastructure systems.

Your expertise will ensure the timely handover of projects in accordance with customer requirements while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Location : Europe - Italy Contract Type: Permanent Responsibilities Manage health, safety, and environmental issues, taking proactive measures to ensure zero harm to employees, customers, contractors, and the environment.

Perform project risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures before commencing major testing and commissioning activities.

Manage project budgets, including change orders, to ensure financial stability and profitability.

Define commissioning plans, including resourcing and scheduling, to ensure smooth project execution.

Lead commissioning efforts to achieve timely project handover in accordance with customer requirements.

Perform routine project Earned Value and Cost Performance reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Oversee the complete commissioning and performance acceptance testing of building control and monitoring systems, HVAC, fire suppression systems, and electrical infrastructure systems.

Lead the QA/QC process to maintain the highest quality standards.

Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and field personnel to generate additional business opportunities for the company.

Maintain and communicate project internal and overall lessons learned to foster continuous improvement.

Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, including mission critical infrastructure.

Experience from a Data Centre environment is highly beneficial.

Strong project management skills, with PMP certification or equivalent being beneficial.

Knowledge of OSHA (or equivalent) safety requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in project management tools, including MS Project.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical P&IDs.

Strong experience with Word, Excel, and Power Point, with the ability to create effective final deliverables.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
