Project Manager
Role Summary**:
The PM coordinates the daily local order fulfillment activities on assigned projects.
This includes but is not limited to: representing Flowserve in front of our Customer with regular updates, ensuring specification and contractual requirements are met and maintained, communicating such project requirements to the internal teams, ensuring compliance with Project Management tools and procedures, etc.
The Coordinator reports to the Customer Service Manager and matrix to Regional Order Fulfillment Manager
The PM shall strive to meet order key performance indicators including but not limited to: On time Delivery, Cash flow, Margin Performance, Change Orders, etc.
Activities include coordinating of production activities and resolving conflict on priorities together within the Quick Response Center (QRC), provide detailed project status updates as requested by management, and support forecast and Sales & Operations (S&OP) activities.
The PM shall work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver orders and projects to meet or exceed Customer expectations and shall remain engaged on assigned orders from Purchase Order (PO) receipt to cash collection and through the warranty period.
This includes ensuring all in process and final documentation and invoices are issued as contractually required.
**Responsibilities & Requirements**:
**Main Accountabilities**:
- Effectively manage orders once released through the shop, notify teams of pending shipments and ensure final inspections are conducted including proper shipping releases, including monitoring financial and on-time performance.
- Attend and actively participate in order hand off meetings and effectively manage the Pass Gate Process throughout the order lifecycle.
Utilize the Project Summary file on all Type II and over projects.
- Manage the Customer experience by acting as main point of contact for the order.
Provide Customer updates as requested.
- Mitigate order risks and capitalize on change order opportunities
- Submit high quality required Customer documentation in a timely manner.
- Review quotation and ensure compliance with Customer PO and specifications, execute repair work, upload QA documents, create As Built report, upload shipping documents and close job.
**Preferred Experience / Skills**:
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:
- Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1 to 3 years working experience in the industry in a similar position.
- Fluent in local and English language.
Good oral and written communication skills.
- Background in a manufacturing environment or in equipment repair processes and procedures.
- Ability to work with complex, multidisciplinary organizations.
Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
Highly organized and process oriented.
- Ability to operate in a matrix environment and lead without direct authority.
- Highly proficient level computer skills including MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, web-based platforms and navigate in ERP systems.
