TASI Turin is looking for a Project Manager.
The candidate will work in Torino inside the DESI Operation Unit.
The candidate shall operate inside the directorate of program managers for LEO and/or first Lunar elements in the operative phase, coordinating the full project team and interfacing with the Agencies and Customers, therefore he/she shall have peculiar communication skill, decision making attitude and assertive and innovative approach for problem resolution, shall be inclined to team working.
It is essential the attention to schedule and economic financial aspects (revenues and cash flow) as well as the attention to build with the customer new work opportunities, thanks to trust, reliability and proactive attitude.
As a Project Manager, the candidate with at least 5 years of experience on manned systems and human spaceflight will have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the project management lifecycles and methodologies activities.
The candidate will work on a wide range of complex and high-profile projects within the LEO programs directorate.
TASI Turin is looking for a candidate with extensive experience in managing of large-scale projects, with wide complexity.
It is also important to have relevant experience in risk identification and management in order to manage a space commercial program and to develop effective business strategies.
Proven ability to develop and implement detailed project plans to monitor and track project performances.
Proficient in ensuring on-time deliverables by ensuring effective coordination of project team resources and identify areas of weakness and criticalities.
Skilled in providing day-to-day leadership and management guidance to ensure the proper operational activities, controls, to support the execution of the business strategy.
Key duties
To coordinate the project team for all aspects granting teamwork. To manage customer interfaces, building trust and communication with the customer. To manage the assigned budget in terms of Cost and Schedule Control of the Programs. To manage the Project, in particular those actions decided within the Monthly Programs Reviews. To support Projects requests in terms of resources adequacy and to manage intra-Domain mobility of work and/or resources. To manage the program resources in accordance with the approved commercial scenario. Manage bid/changes and/or project stakeholders, including those belonging to other Domains or Competence Centers. Coordinate the project team in difficult situations or crises in order to reach recovery plans. Control CBB/EAC and cash flow in coordination with the Finance Controller. Managing Risks & Opportunities. Monthly Progress report preparation with program core team and interface with Customer for clarification aspects if requested. Preparation of internal Company monthly Dashboard jointly with CFO.
Skills, Experience And Qualifications Required
Project Management and as preference associated certification. Team building and coordination. Detailed planning, profitability. Feasibility and economic impacts. Risk and Opportunities Analysis and control plans. Decision making capability. Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of the program. Ensure project meets requirements and objectives. "Earned-value" techniques analysis & project metrics. Transition & Change Management. Continuous Improvement. Supply Chain Management. New Product Development. Good knowledge of Financial parameters. Fluent English. University CurriculaMaster's degree or equivalent qualification in aerospace engineering or a major scientific discipline.
