System Logistics provides innovative intralogistics and material handling solutions for the optimization of warehouse supply chains, distribution centers and production centers all over the world.
Specializing in the Food & Beverage industry, System Logistics develops tailor-made solutions for storage and automated picking, including stacker cranes, high-rotation warehouses, high-speed shuttles, AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles), software and services.
The majority of the technologies provided are entirely designed, engineered, produced and installed by System Logistics.
This ensures complete control of the process.
System Logistics is part of Krones Group, an international leader in design, development and production of machines and complete lines for the beverage processing, filling and packaging technologies.
**Position
The ideal Project Manager has an engineering background (management, mechanical or electronics) and has proven experience in a similar role, where you have led and delivered projects in a timely fashion meeting or exceeding the original target, ideally in the industrial automation field.
In this role you will be expected to lead a variety of projects at one time while supporting the growth of System Logistics in the ENA region, so strong organizational and time management skills are key.
You will work with a range of clients overseeing complex intralogistics projects reporting to the ENA Manager of Project Management and working with colleagues from all around the world.
You can expect the role to be varied and you will ideally enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment where no 2 days are the same.
The role is located in our brand new Loghouse, the company headquarter in Fiorano (MO), but we can offer you flexibility so you can work for home for part of the time and join the team in the office for the remainder.
You should anyway expect to travel domestically and internationally often to visit customer and monitor site progress, with frequency depending on the different project phases.
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in a customer-facing position
- Master's degree qualification in engineering
- Full Italian and English proficiency
- Experience in managing multi-million solution-based projects
- Strong communication skills across verbal, written and presented content
- Ability to work independently as well as in a rapidly growing and changing team environment
- Ability to state what is needed to persuade and convince others without causing defensiveness and to inspire others to take action
- Ability to support, manage and delegate the project team's responsibilities and tasks through all stages of the project life cycle
- Project management tools and software packages - SAP, MS projects, MS Office or similar
**Other information
- Team leadership or management experience
- Project management certification (Prince 2, PMP or similar)
- Proficiency in a second language (Spanish, French or German)
