**About role**:
Responsabilità:
- Plans, directs, and leads the efforts of the project team by using Trinseo Thrive Project Management Work Processes to achieve the business or site goals and objectives of the project.

- Controls the cost and timing of the project to keep expenditures and schedules within the limits authorized by management 20%
- Coordinates with the Business Management Team (or Site Management for infrastructure projects) in the development of an Opportunity Definition and Business Case in FEL 1 that documents the project goals and objectives supporting the business strategy.
Ensures that all stakeholders understand and support the goals and objectives for pursuing the opportunity.

- Manages and leads the development of the FEL 2 to define the process technology and the capital and operating cost required to support the business case.
Prepares and submits the Early Authorization Package to obtain management approval and funding for further development and definition of the project in the gated process.

- Manages the preparation of the FEL 3 to define how the project will be organized and executed so that the goals and objectives of the business opportunity are realized, and all associated significant risks are identified and mitigated.
Prepares and submits the Final Authorization Package to fund the remainder of the project.

- Manages the design and construction of the project in the execution phase of the process to ensure that the facilities and equipment are engineered and built according to the key project plans and within the authorized schedule and cost limitations.

- Manages the commission and startup of the new facilities and the project closure activities in a safe and timely manner so that the benefits of the project can be fully realized and learnings will be recorded.

Qualifiche:
Minimum Education Required: This position requires broad generalized knowledge of the principles of chemical, civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control engineering.
Such knowledge is typically attained by minimum a B. S.
degree in engineering or the acquired equivalent.
Minimum Experience (years and type): Minimum 10 years of experience in Plant Operations and/or Project Implementation.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- A practical knowledge of (Trinseo) Process Safety principles, government environmental regulations, and Trinseo guidelines is necessary to guide the team to compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- A Project Management Professional Certification is preferred
- Management Skills
- Effective management and administrative skills are necessary to plan, organize, coordinate, and control the efforts of the project team to achieve the goals and objectives of the business opportunity.
A knowledge of value-based management and value creation principles is required for decision making.
- A thorough understanding of risk analysis and mitigation techniques is required to ensure the success of the project
- Human Relations Skills
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with the exceptionally broad array of functions and cultures encountered during the life of the project.
Knowledge of the local language is particularly desirable for expatriate assignments.
Both verbal and written English proficiency is a minimum.
- Effective interpersonal skills are required in influencing, negotiating, and representing the interests and requirements of the business opportunity and the project.
