We are now looking for a colleague to join our team in Cluj-Napoca, Romania as a Project Manager. Position SummaryThe Project Manager will report to the EMEA Process Improvement Manager within the Technology Application Engineering and Market Development function.
The Project Manager role involves traditional project management responsibilities for projects with EMEA enterprise-wide impact.
You will lead to successful completion various projects for tools implementation (CPQ)/ enhancement or process improvement projects within Opportunity to Order process improvement programs.
Also, as a Project Manager you could support projects for introduction of new solutions/products in the company portfolio.
You will be responsible for ensuring that project objectives are achieved on time and on budget, while meeting quality goals of the program. What you'll do?
As a key team player, your responsibilities include:Assume a leadership role in planning, executing, and closing projects within the Application Engineering and Market development department, collaborating with various leaders to achieve project goals. Work closely with leaders from different departments, including Application Engineering, Offering, Sales, Sales Support, Finance to understand project requirements and ensure successful project delivery. Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables.
Execute projects according to established plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to prevent delays or roadblocks.
Implement contingency plans as needed to ensure successful project outcomes. Collaborate with department leaders to allocate and manage resources effectively, ensuring that project teams have the necessary support to meet project objectives. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each project, providing regular reports to department leaders on project status, milestones achieved, and areas requiring attention. Support leaders in change management efforts associated with improvement projects, assisting in the communication and adoption of new processes or frameworks. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within project teams, seeking feedback, and implementing lessons learned to enhance project management processes. What makes you successful?
Bring your passion and expertise with:5 years+ directly related experience required. Strong Project Planning & Organizational Skills. Six Sigma / Lean certifications / PMP or any other Project Management certification preferred. Excellent presentation skills; can adjust presentation to the audience level.
Comfortable presenting to small and large groups at all levels of the organization. Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Must be highly effective at leading people and facilitating rapid change in a consistent and structured manner. Ability to demonstrate process development and management practices. Possesses understanding of cultural and behavioral influences on project communication and execution. Working knowledge of project management technologies and tools such as SmartSheet, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint. Team-oriented individual with the ability to work in a large, global corporate structure. Highly motivated self-starter who can initiate action and follow through with well-defined solutions and action plans. Excellent spoken and written English. Required to travel across EMEA for the performance of required duties.
