Spacelab S. p. A. carries out in Italy and abroad, activities in the aerospace industry and, in particular, in the field of space transport systems, launchers and their components and equipment.

Spacelab S. P. A. it is engaged in particular in research and development of new technologies and test infrastructures in the space transport sector.

It is 70% owned by Avio S. p. A. and 30% by the Italian Space Agency.

- ** Project Manager Command, Control and Orbital Segment Acquisition Systems **based in Colleferro (Rome), Italy**Il Ruolo**:

Within SpaceLab, a joint stock company owned by the Avio group and the Italian Space Agency, the role involves the programmatic technical management of the life cycle of the command, control and acquisition system of the ground segment for space transport systems orbitals, such as SpaceRider in the Vega family.

He/she has the Design Responsibility for the life cycle of the products entrusted to him/her in compliance with the agreed technical and programmatic requirements (example, costs and times).

He/she defines the system architecture on the basis of functional objectives defined by the customer, manages the development and qualification plan, carries out the design, with the support of the industrial chain, defines the validation and verification plans and generates the supporting elements of the conformity of the product as design in relation to the technical requirements.

Instructs the treatment of technical facts on the configuration of as design and as built products, defines maintenance plans and provides technical assistance to the customer where necessary, at the Colleferro site or, on occasion, at the operational site, in Sardinia, Guyana French or elsewhere.

**I Requisiti**:

- He/she has a technical background, with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automation or Physics.

- Has gained his work experience in the industrial field in the aforementioned sectors or in research institutions

- He/she has a working knowledge of development, validation and verification cycles for software, avionics equipment, ground segment systems according to ECSS regulation.

- He/she is familiar with technologies related to Data Handling, in particular with protocols and equipment for the distribution of data over copper, optical fiber or radio frequency, real-time architectures and technologies for command and control systems.

- He/she has knowledge of RAMS aspects and 8D and 6sigma methodologies.

- He/she has an excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and optionally of French.

- He/she has authority and management style for managing relationships with industrial or institutional customers and with the supply chain.

- Location: Colleferro with availability to travel abroad frequently

- Knowledge of the Italian language is not considered an essential requirement
