Position:We are looking for a Project Manager - Development for a direct placement with our international client in the renewable energy sector. The role will be responsible for wind and solar photovoltaic projects in Italy during the development phase, from origination (internal project development) or screening (project acquisition) to financial closure and handover to the EPC Project Manager.

The role will also be involved in searching for suitable land for future projects as well as in developing permitting. The candidate will join the Project Development office, which consists of 12 people, with 5 in Copenhagen and 7 in Milan. Main Responsibilities:Management of wind and renewable projects in Italy;Conducting technical-economic risk assessments to evaluate project feasibility and investment potential for internal project approval;Coordinating the permitting process to ensure the acquisition of permits for projects to proceed to construction;Preparing presentations and financial models for projects;Negotiating contracts for the acquisition of new projects with the support of the Legal team;Monitoring compliance with project timelines and budget;Providing updates on the progress of managed projects. Requirements:Degree in Engineering, Economics, or related fields;Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role;Previous and recent experience in the renewable sector, especially in the permitting phase;Preference for certification in Project Management (e. g. , PMI);Excellent knowledge of Italian and English;Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (Denmark);Residence within 150km of the workplace or willingness to relocate.
