**Job Description**:

The resource will work in strict connection with the Project Manager of an international project in the railway sector.

He/She will contribute to anticipate and monitor the progress of the project, with a special focus on Cost Monitoring activities.

The main interfaces will be the Project Manager, Project Planner, Finance and Controlling responsible and the Technical leaders of different engineering areas involved.

Your responsibilities will include:

- To monitor project execution progress and communicate it through specific KPIs

- To perform project costs analysis

- To review project Cash position

- To control costs and check if variance occurred

- To ensure invoices are sent and paid according to the plan

- To optimize project financials (e. g.

monitor such risks which are associated to financial matters)

- To liaise with Finance department with regard to the project (e. g.

about bonds, invoices, payments)

- To participate to the PMO project reviews if needed

**Qualifications**:

- Master degree in Management Engineering, or equivalent degree

- Fluent in English

- Good knowledge Ms Project and Microsoft Office

- Understanding of financial basic elements part of project management

- Mid-level seniority (2-3 years into Project management area, also with supporting roles)
