"The Project Planner must ensure, through preparation, coordination, and continuous updating of schedules, the achievement of project objectives.
Specifically, the Planner must ensure the following activities:Keep the Project Master Schedule updated in accordance with the CLIENT's representative. Finalize the completion dates of project objectives. Assist the CLIENT's representatives in preparing detailed engineering, procurement, and construction schedules. Develop and update the detailed engineering schedule according to document management programs and document progress techniques. Prepare and update the detailed procurement schedule based on progress and information from suppliers. Prepare and update the detailed construction schedule based on material arrivals and technical documentation (specifications, drawings, etc.
), particularly assessing feasibility. Use progress data to update the schedule and inform the CLIENT's representative of any deviations. Support the project, together with the Risk Manager, in managing the Schedule Risk Analysis, if required. Attend progress meetings and notify any deviations from project plans. Notify any additional work or revisions that need to be incorporated into the schedules and inform the CLIENT's representative of any changes in workload and any deviations from completion dates. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Management Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects in the Oil Gas industry. Proven experience in managing and coordinating large-scale projects, including detailed engineering, procurement, and construction phases. Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other relevant planning tools. Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other relevant engineering software is a plus. Fluency in Italian (native or bilingual proficiency). Proficiency in English (professional working proficiency). Ability to develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including engineering, procurement, and construction activities. Experience in risk management and the ability to conduct Schedule Risk Analysis. Strong analytical skills to assess project progress and identify potential delays or issues. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members. Ability to lead and participate in progress meetings, providing clear and concise updates on project status. Strong team player who can work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment. Proactive approach to identifying and resolving project-related issues. Ability to make informed decisions based on project data and stakeholder input. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing and updating project schedules. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines. Flexibility to work in different project environments and locations, if required. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is an advantage.
