We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist who will report to the Operational Procurement Manager, he/she will be based in the Milan HQ and will be responsible to manage and plan purchase orders of direct (materials of any product class) and indirect (maintenance, contracts, works, transport, rentals, catering, human resources, IT); he/she will be in charge to scout new suppliers with frequent cold calls; draft a "Bidder List" with suppliers to be involved in the tender, create tenders in the electronic portal PRY-Source (E-bidding), analyze technical offers and relative alignment in collaboration with internal client; evaluate economic and commercial offers, align contractual terms and general terms and conditions. - Create and issue purchase order in SAP;- Update Procurement Plan (on a daily basis) and Frame Agreements and Blanket Order Reports (on a monthly basis);- Increase internal customer satisfaction by supporting and improving the efficiencies of the procurement cycle;- Provide general administrative support which would include to check invoice discrepancies;

Key Requirements- Degree, preferably in Economics and Business Administration;- English fluent, written and spoken;- Max 3 years of experience in a similar field- Self-motivated and determined to resolve issues efficiently to a close;- Ability to think things through logically and then act upon them;- Good communication and interpersonal skills internally and externally;- Professional attitude towards working and a belief in the 'Team' ethic;- Organisational skills, proactivity and full of initiative;- Ability to deal with problems as and when they arise and to priorities;- Good analytical and problem solving skills;- Knowledge of main tools as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc ;- Excellent Skill for Excel;

We will expect a professional attitude to work and a willingness to learn and take initiative.
