Position Summary:

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Lead & manage the development of the commercial/technical offer by collecting, reviewing, and analyzing customer requirements and specifications.

- Work with Sales, Application Engineers & Services Teams to generate the best competitive technical solution while maximizing Emerson's position.

- On-time delivery of solution proposals per the proposal deadline.

- Generate cost and pricing sheets to report sell price, profit, and costs to business leadership.

Collaborate with the Sales team to determine appropriate pricing required to win.

- Coordinate proposal activities with the appropriate personal including but not limited to Sales, Legal, Finance, Engineers, Product Management, and external contacts such as electrical subcontractors, system integrators, instrument suppliers, electrical distributors, and other vendors.

- Analyze commercial and technical details to prepare risk assessment and manage the deal approval process for each deal to ensure a strong business case and compliant process.

- Participates in process improvements to enable the team to be agile and efficient.

- Demonstrate customer focus and passion to win in a challenging environment.

**Skills**:

- Hands on experience with CRM software like Salesforce

- Advanced knowledge in the Office 365 package, especially in Excel

- In-depth understanding of the proposal process

- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask while coordinating multiple priorities either alone or as part of a team

- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environment with time-sensitive demands.

- Positive "can-do" attitude and technically creative thought process.

- Good interpersonal, team management, and organizational skills

- Familiar with international variances in cultural and legal issues.

- Good verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

- Ability to specify and elaborate industrial automation network architectures involving PLC Controllers, SCADA Systems, switches, firewalls, and industrial radios is an advantage.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree and/or equivalent qualification in electronic engineering, automation engineering and / or having proven technical experience

- Languages: English and ltalian.

**Experience**:

- Knowledge of Emerson's product portfolio, such as: PACSystems RX3i, VersaMax, QuickPanel +, RSTi-EP, Machine Edition, Moviconetc.
