We understand, applying for a new role can be overwhelming sometimes, so we have outlined each step of our process – from submitting your online application through to joining Officina Stellare.
Interviews If your application passes the initial screening, a recruiter will contact you to further discuss your application.
A suitable time will be arranged, this will be held either on Microsoft Teams or in person and will be approximately 1 hour long.
The process may differ slightly depending on the role, and you will be asked to attend between 2-3 interviews before a job offer is made.
Interviews are not only for our team to greater understand your experience, they also allow you to ask any additional questions you may have about the company and the role.

ABOUT THE ROLE: We deliver innovative mechanical engineering solutions for ground and space-based optical applications.
We are seeking a Proposal Manager to coordinate and write winning proposals – lasercomm field- for government agencies and commercial customers in the space industry.
The Proposal Manager is typically engaged at the beginning of the Bid and Pursuit Phase and exits at the Clarification stage.
The role requires a proven ability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposals within a complex business environment, an ability to work with a highly standard of networking across the organization, under pressure and to challenging deadlines.
WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO Crafting detailed bid documentation by meticulously analyzing customer requirements, costs, utilizing client-centric narrative aligned to the proposed solution.
Manages proposal development from draft solicitation stage through final proposal revisions making sure the final package is compliant with customer requirements.
Rewrites technical text as necessary for clarity, readability, and tone.
Enforces internal proposal deadlines and oversees the review and approval processes.
Fostering collaboration across the teams, including engineering, product management, pricing, finance, and risk assessment.
Manages a variety of proposals in the lasercomm field.
YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROPOSAL MANAGER University degree in Aerospace engineering or technical fields.
2+ years of proposal experience, preferably in the aerospace industry or advanced technology development.
Attention to details and able to work with a high meticulous standard.
Proactive attitude.
Team player.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple proposals even where the process and/or deliverable is nonstandard.
Ability to work successfully under time-sensitive deadlines and in fast-paced environments.
Experience with an industry standard proposal process.
THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE Experience in formulating bids for ESA/ASI.
Knowledge of ECOS.
Knowledge of Lasercom or Quantum communications.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Contract: permanent.
Location: Sarcedo, Vicenza (Italy).
Working time: full time, remote if needed.
