Proposal Manager
DXC Technology** is looking for a **Proposal Manage**r to join our company by working on larger deals in public sector or regulated markets.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Be responsible for the Client Proposal, understanding and representing the business context, to persuasively describe DXC offering, messaging, solutions, differentiators and win themes and to support the definition of strategy with the pursuit team (typically Account or sales lead, solution leads and SMEs).
- Partner with the sales lead for the content and approach to the Executive Summary and client messaging.
- Identify and re-work pre-written content relevant to client-specific requirements. Analyze RFx/bid requirements and tailor the proposal blueprint to ensure both compliance and responsiveness so that customer's evaluation criteria is met.
- Own and oversee the proposal development process from initial proposal content creation, design and production of graphics, quality reviews and production. Ensure Proposal Management best practices are followed and deliver completed written proposal responses against agreed RFP deadlines, escalating issues as required. Integrate into proposal content written by Subject Matter Experts ensuring messaging and win themes are followed and to achieve "One Voice". Deliver a quality and complete proposal, on time.
- Be involved in the end to end proposal generation, including resolution and escalation of development issues, interacting with internal SME and partners for final documents generation.
- Work cooperatively with the pursuit team contributors and take ownership of content all relevant internal and external key stakeholders to populate and update content. Develop a writing style and language usage to appeal to the client's own values and culture. Lead the production team to produce, quality check and deliver the final documents
**Key Skills and Experience Required
- At least three (3) years' experience in a Proposal Management role, preferably complex solutions in Information Technology or similar environment is expected.
- Experience in Italy regulated markets or public procurement process.
- Background in IT (ideally at least 3 years) preferably from Analytics or Applications or as Architect/Chief Technologist areas, understanding major technology trends, to be able to describe them and their impact to the client business effectively.
- Project management skills, ability to manage multiple engagement and stakeholders in parallel. Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexible, willing and able to work outside normal working hours to ensure achievement of team objectives.
- Good negotiation and influencing skills, internal and customer facing
- Advanced communication skills — particularly strong writing skills: Fluency in Italian - excellent written and spoken language skills / English - professional written and spoken
- First-level university degree required; advanced university degree preferred;
