About the Role We are looking for a Proposal Manager with a strong track record in developing and submitting winning funding proposals for European and national grants, particularly in the deep tech sector.

This role will involve working closely with researchers, engineers, and business development teams to craft compelling applications for competitive funding programs such as Horizon Europe, EIC Accelerator, and national R&D grants.

Key Responsibilities Grant Proposal Development: lead the preparation, writing, and submission of funding proposals for deep tech projects, ensuring compliance with eligibility criteria and funding guidelines. Consortium Building & Partner Engagement: identify and engage key stakeholders, including universities, research centers, corporate partners, and startups, to strengthen consortia. Project Strategy & Positioning: align proposals with organizational strategy, funding priorities, and technological roadmaps. Budget & Financial Planning: develop project budgets in line with funding requirements, ensuring cost eligibility and financial sustainability. Regulatory & Compliance Management: ensure proposals meet all required standards, including legal, ethical, and administrative guidelines. Stakeholder Coordination: collaborate with internal teams to gather input and ensure high-quality submissions. Proposal Writing & Editing: draft and refine technical and commercial sections, presenting deep tech innovations in a clear and persuasive manner. Grant Monitoring & Reporting: track funding opportunities, manage proposal deadlines, and oversee post-submission reporting as needed. Qualifications & Skills Experience: At least 3 years of experience in proposal writing and management for European or national funding programs, preferably in deep tech (e. g. quantum computing, AI, semiconductors, biotech, energy, etc.

). Technical Knowledge: background in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or relevant experience in technology-driven proposals. Project Management: strong ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. Writing & Communication: excellent English writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and business in a clear and persuasive way. Collaboration & Networking: experience in engaging with partners from industry, academia, and public institutions. Knowledge of EU/National Funding Programs: deep understanding of Horizon Europe, EIC, national R&D funding schemes, and their evaluation processes. Budgeting & Financial Expertise: ability to prepare project budgets and understand cost structures in research and innovation projects.
