Ps Technical Consultant
Provides technical support and resolve customer cases by phone, internet, as well at client's site.
Diagnose, solve technical issues at 2nd, 3rd level, and where needed escalation to development.
Provide technical assistance and remote troubleshooting support as part of a global support organization.
Work closely with engineers, R&D and project managers to improve Retalix customers satisfaction.
- Responsible for ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customers satisfaction and in compliance with agreed upon Service Level Agreements
- Build working relationships with customers and develop informal communication channels with customer account at the local level (ie Store or office)
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of related experience
Ability to work with Microsoft Office suite;
Experience on Windows operating systems required.
Works well with mínimal supervision; Good problem solving skills; Ability to pick up new skills quickly; Ability to work under pressure; Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
Deployment services Retail environment:
- Position required to perform Sw deployment services of medium-high complexity; assure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Software installation (remote or on site)
- Staging and testing of equipments
- Perform Customer training
- Be able to manage and assist on also Hw installation / part replacement in the store
- Assist in site/store preparation-including installation of cable
- Successfully manage store installation and/or roll-out activities in more complex environment, defined by customer, project planning, scope, and risk
- Interfaces with customers regarding the installation/product delivery activity and ensure that installation/delivery is completed to the customer's satisfaction
- Responsible for ownership of the customer problems or incidents durinf the store or roll-out installation until the situation has been resolved to the customers satisfaction
- Responsible for accurate and prompt reporting of activity
- Verify that the site environment meets the requirements prior to installation or rollout
- Install customer systems according to the installation plan, certify that the installation or setup of the SW product meets the customer's requirements
- elevate or escalate issues when appropriate, and/or according to established procedures
- Build working relationships with customers and develop informal communication channels with customer account at the local (store ) level
- Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office suite; Experience on Windows XP, Windows 2000 operating systems required
- 2 years of related experience
- Experience working directly with customers and end users
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task; good time management and organizational skills
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, flex shifts, and on-call
- Represent NCR in a manner that reflects positively on the image and reputation of the company
- Ability to identify and resolve issues with a sense of urgency
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently
- Experience in PC Hardware Maintenance and support is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills/customer relationship skills required
- High level of personal integrity; Support and promote teamwork and cooperative effort
