Docplanner was founded in 2012 in Poland. Our team now numbers 1, 700 people based across 7 offices in Warsaw, Barcelona, Istanbul, Rome, Mexico City, Curitiba and Bologna. It is backed by leading venture capital funds including Point Nine Capital, Goldman Sachs Private Capital and One Peak Partners, raising a total of approximately €300 million to date.

One of those is the Public Affairs Manager for Italy. The job is based in any of our Italian hubs (Rome, Bologna, Milan) or fully remote.
**Job Description**:
Reporting into Docplanner Group's General Counsel, you will be responsible for the management of public affairs and relationships for Docplanner in Italy. As the very first Docplanner global hire fully dedicated to public affairs, you will be a groundbreaker, and will be able to make an impact upon the whole Docplanner organisation, and lead the way for the management of public relationships in the future.
Areas of responsibility:
- build, manage and maintain a solid network of relationships with key public and private stakeholders in the Italian healthcare sector, both at national and regional or local level
- define Docplanner's strategy for partnering with Italian healthcare authorities, institutions, associations, and create new business opportunities
- monitor the Italian healthcare landscape, identify changes to the regulatory and operational framework at national and local level, and influence the public discourse by promoting the growth of digital healthcare at all levels of the healthcare system
- identify opportunities for cooperation with the public healthcare sector, including public tenders, and supervise external and internal teams in bidding processes and technical integration projects
- coordinate internal and/or external stakeholders (agencies, consultants, lobbying groups and associations), and gradually build a team of experts who are capable of getting Docplanner "through the door" where business opportunities arise
- work closely with the Marketing team to shape Docplanner's public communication strategy, boost Docplanner's brand awareness and the perception of Docplanner as the leader in the digital healthcare market in Italy
**Qualifications**:
**If you**:
- have a solid knowledge of the Italian healthcare system at all levels (national and local)
- possess multiple years of professional experience as a public affairs specialist or business development manager (experience in the digital/tech sector, or working in software companies, a plus)
- have a good existing network in at least one of the different healthcare verticals in Italy (public or private)
- are a strong communicator who can comfortably navigate through different dimensions and styles of conversation, both in Italian and English (professional proficiency required)
- possess strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate different types of stakeholders (internal and external) aiming towards a common goal
- are able to make quick decisions with sound business judgement
- are detail-oriented and well organised, and are able to analyse complex frameworks without losing sight of the ultimate goals and bigger picture
- are a fire-starter and can clearly demonstrate your ability to be proactive without continuous supervision
- are hungry for challenges and seek constant learning / embrace frequent change
