As a Public Area Attendant at The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, a Belmond Train, you play a vital role in creating an impeccable and unforgettable environment for all our guests.

Primary Responsibilities Include: Ensure all public areas, including the bar, corridors, and dining areas, are impeccably clean, well-organized, and presentable at all times. Ensure all guest areas reflect the high standards of luxury associated with the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, paying close attention to cleanliness and ambiance. Work closely with other staff members, including cabin stewards and the management team, to ensure a seamless guest experience throughout the train journey. Ensure public areas are stocked with the necessary items, such as towels and hygiene products, and replenish them as needed. Requirements: Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or similar high-end environments is highly desirable, particularly in maintaining public areas, guest service, or housekeeping. A keen eye for detail, ensuring that all public spaces are meticulously clean, organized, and reflect the luxury standards of the train. Ability to work collaboratively with the broader team, including cabin stewards and other staff, to deliver seamless guest experiences. The role requires being on your feet for extended periods and performing tasks such as cleaning, carrying supplies, and managing public spaces, often in a confined environment. Travelling extensively across Europe. European or Swiss passport. Conversational in English and preferably French; a basic comprehension of Italian is a plus.
