**Role purpose**:
Never before the Public Sector has been at the centre of what we do within Vodafone Business.
Growing at double digit rate and with the strong push coming from PNRR and next generation EU funds, the Public Sector is a strategic priority for Vodafone.
The position of Public Sector Marketing Product Manager is about defining go to market strategies in the Public Sector to fuel growth and capture our share of PNRR funds.
The focus of the role is across all our lines of product (mobile, fixed and digital solutions as well as cloud and IT Services) and involves:
- Being part of the bid team to support our effort to win large Public Sector tenders in Italy;
- Defining the go to market for the implementation of existing framework agreements with the Italian public administration where Vodafone is entitled to sell;
- Working with partners to define solutions that can be promoted to the public administration;
- Identifying opportunities to capture PNRR funds;
- Support the project management and the measurement of results (revenues, conversion, pipeline creation) for the existing framework agreements;
- Preparing and delivering the training to the sales force;
- Managing external communications and PR where required to increase market awareness for Vodafone's brand in the public sector
To achieve your objective, you will have to interact with all Vodafone Business departments namely Sales, Pre-sales, Bid Management, Finance, Product Development, Partnership Management, IT as well as suppliers and partners.
**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:
- Commercial Business Impact;
- Create and own market requirements specifications and processes for the product (s) and related offers.
Responsible for taking services through the Italian product development processes;
- Accountable to design and implement processes relating to new product/framework agreements.
This includes product performance management, maintaining high quality product collaterals and training materials, product marketing and PR activities, product innovation and rationalisation;
- Actively define and implement the best customer experience for existing customers and improve/innovate/simplify customer journeys for the Public Sector;
- Managing key stakeholders in Vodafone Italy (mainly Product Management, Sales, Delivery, Technology Functions);
- Accountable for revenue generation initiatives in the Public Sector;
- Accountable for product-related costs (capex and opex) and their impact on competitiveness.
**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:
- Results driven person with ambition and entrepreneurship.
Can do attitude and proactivity;
- Team player, willingness to learn and try new things, innovation hungry;
- Knowledge of the tender process for the Public Sector and the main dynamics of the purchasing process for a public administration;
- Ability to read and P&L sheet and understand main value drivers;
- Analytical and number oriented, able to manage complex dashboards and KPIs and identify trends as well as necessary actions;
- Significant hands-on experience on product management, product lifecycle management and product development;
- Good communications skills, comfortable interfacing with different stakeholders at different levels of seniority;
- Passionate for Marketing product development and project management.
**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:
- Graduated (Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics);
- ICT Product Management experience;
- Excellent MS office skills, excel in particular.
