Overview The Publications Lead supports the Head of Scientific Publication in activities related to scientific publication activities such as: development and leading the strategic planning and delivery of company scientific, technical and medical publications, leading cross-functional publication teams (company product or research groups), maintenance of compliance and enhancing the company's external reputation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong publication strategy experience, Good Publication Practice knowledge and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization.

Key Responsibilities Provide Publications strategy and development supporting company drug & research projects.

Leading the timely delivery of planned publications to target audiences, forging good links with experts, investigators, journal editors and internal company stakeholders and collaborators.

Managing scientific publication teams and meetings.

Running publication strategy workshops when appropriate.

Managing scientific publications agencies and overseeing tactical delivery so that they are delivering quality, to budget, strategy and time.

Budget management and planning.

Overseeing publication management systems such as iEnvision.

Organising reports and metrics to assist the group with planning.

Assisting with the development of sci publications governance documents (POLs, SOPs, WIs) in line with Good Publication Practice and other external regulations.

Providing training on Good Publication Practice, transparency and ethical standards, policies & SOPs within the company as and when required.

Maintain awareness of external requirements, with respect to publishing and complying with all external codes and ethical standards in publishing.

Contributing to & publishing research about scientific publications transparency and ethics.

Job requirements Who are you?

Experience with pharmaceutical sci publications strategy, planning and development required (min 7 years).

Thorough knowledge and understanding of Good Publication Practice and external transparency and ethics regulations.

Project and vendor management experience.

Advanced biomedical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD).

Key Skills and Competencies: Ability to lead large, transversal publication teams.

Strategic thinking and communication.

Strong team player.

Fostering an environment conducive to positive performance and open communication.

Ability to represent Publication team, GMA and company in a positive and highly professional manner to all internal and external stakeholders.

Positive attitude and commitment to meeting goals and objectives.

High degree of personal accountability; owns words and actions and sets positive and ethical example for entire team.
