Publishing And Pr Manager Figc
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- Lead and drive the Publishing strategy and deliver compelling storytelling with the adidas' partner FIGC across all touchpoints and key media, both traditional and new platforms.
Create and execute plans and activities, coherently with Brand Calendar and adidas Global Publishing team, generating quality brand and products exposure, supporting business objectives and goals, managing brand advocacy and momentum by connecting fans of the brand, in collaboration with Sports Marketing team, ensuring brand stories are amplified with consistency, scale and impact.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy: Define the annual publishing approach for the main partner FIGC, in close alignment with the key internal stakeholders and the counterpart in the Federation, identifying the touchpoints and the moments in the Brand Calendar and in the dedicated timeline.
- Creation: Create the publishing plans and briefs for amplifying partner's campaigns, which will be done in-line with the Global Publishing Strategy and Global Business Unit's priorities/concepts.
- Content guidance: Provide direction and assistance and lead the production on capturing content that will be published on social channels, including best practice guidance around format types, e. g.
vertical imagery/video for Instagram.
This guidance will extend to publishing against global guidelines, including tagging and FTC/ASA hashtags to ensure legal compliance.
- Editorial plans: Create editorial plans for and with FIGC through the main editors and media, leveraging the partnership to guarantee exposure, around product launches and landed with key media titles. visibility and amplification, both long term plans as well as in response to briefs, and collaborate with the PR teams to offer media placement and interviews, which are determined by global brand priorities.
- Portfolio Management: In partnership with Sports Marketing maintain and nurture constant and profitable relationship with Federation and its internal stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Coordinate the activities and the strategy with all the internal colleagues/teams to drive seamless execution around the partner.
- Process: Working against global brand milestone process to deliver on-time and in-full toolkits and contents
- Events and presentations: Attending workshops and summits to upskill internal teams and partners on strategic direction, expectations and industry best practice.
- Budget Management: Ownership and management of budget with agencies and partners, setting up vendors and upholding compliance practices.
- KPIs: Monitor performance of partners against KPIs to feedback to stakeholders on success and outcome of partners placement in media or publishing of content on social channels.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms.
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills and high level of strategic thinking.
- Experience in digital marketing/communications.
- Superior writing, research, presentation and project management skills.
- Ability to manage and / or collaborate with internal and external cross-functional groups: product marketing, communications, social, digital and retail.
- Understanding of editorial planning, particularly across PR and social landscape.
- Strong written and verbal, presentation and organizational skills.
- Project management experience - managing stakeholder groups, budgets and timelines.
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
- Knowledge, passion and understanding of sports.
- Proven track record in Influencer Marketing.
- Proven experience in content creation for social.
- Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate degree (minimum of 4 year college)
- 5+ years industry or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
