- Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Implement and execute the Local Purchasing Policy in accordance with Corporate Policies and Guidelines ensuring country compliance with established procedures.

- Maximize the value of purchased goods and services working closely with line functions to ensure that their requirements are clearly defined: identify alternative suppliers and define the negotiation strategy; review negotiation results with internal stakeholders.

- Select and implement an appropriate sourcing strategy for all indirect purchasing categories working closely with the Global and Regional Sourcing Teams.

- Work closely with Legal and functions (responsible for the purchases) for the establishment of standard terms and conditions and setup standard contract templates.

- Identify opportunities to harmonize and standardize processes in the country: analyze the market, suppliers and price trends regularly and make recommendation to management for necessary change.

- Develop and maintain appropriate reporting against defined KPIs.

- Develop, promote and deploy training programs for procurement processes.

- The minimum qualifications for this role are:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

Master's degree with specialization in Business Administration is highly preferred.

- Minimum of 5-7 years in same role as Purchasing Manager in multinational environment.

- Proven, successful supplier negotiations skills.

Understanding of contract terms and conditions.

- Must possess following skills: accuracy, excellent communication/relationship skill, negotiating skills, problem solving, planning and organization, result orientation, service orientation, ability to perform in stress situations.

- Must possess excellent knowledge of Office suite and a dept SAP knowledge, including proficiency in industry standard software programs.

- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
