**All about the role**:
We are looking for a full time Purchasing Manager in Logistics to define and to manage the sourcing activities of logistics solutions for Major Appliances, Small Domestic Appliances and Well Being in Business Area Europe.
In this role you will work in close collaboration with Operations Logistics, Supply Chain and Sales to ensure best-in-class service level at competitive costs.
**What you will do**:
**Your main tasks**:
- Drive the team to develop and implement the best Sourcing Strategies for Logistics services including Warehousing & Transportation for Business Area Europe, ensuring proper execution and compliance.
- Accountability on supplier cost performance & service level.
- People Development: enhance and further develop leadership capabilities of team members in cooperation with HR Business Partner & Line Manager.
- Develop a collaborative relationship with key peers fostering standardization of the European contractual setup.
- Supplier Relationship Management: ensure proper governance in place by holding a strong commercial relationship with suppliers & stakeholders.
- Search alternative and innovative logistics solutions to improve efficiency, promote sustainability and customer satisfaction.
- Drive and promote continuous improvement actions by leading activities among the team, stakeholders and suppliers.
**Who you are**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Administration or Economics
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience In Purchasing or Supply chain
- Proven experience in leading people
- Relevant experience in transport, logistics & supply chain activities
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment
- Negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Required languages: fluent English written and spoken
**Where you will be**:
The preferred location for this role is Porcia, Italy, in a modern office setting with 21 colleagues dedicated to Purchasing Logistics, Supply Chain and Finance services across Europe.
Any other location in Italy can be considered as well, with willingness to travel to Porcia.
