The products are distributed in more than 80 countries in Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and Asia, the United States and Latin America. Purpose of the role:The ideal candidate will assist the purchasing department by supporting the sourcing process for direct and indirect costs, conducting cost analyses, and providing periodic reports.
They will prepare cost benchmarks to aid in negotiations, issue purchase orders, and manage vendor relationships. Areas of responsibility:Operatively supports the purchasing process of ordering components (mainly packaging) and services (general expenses, transports…). Support the Purchasing Manager on saving projects. Support the Purchasing Manager in spend analysis. Support the Purchasing Manager in tender management. Manage all documentation for suppliers' homologation. Support the Purchasing Manager for the suppliers' evaluation process. Keep and update commercial conditions of references' database in SAP. Issue purchase orders. Support other departments in requests on purchases. Requirements:Bachelor's degree. 2 years working experience in the same or similar role. Good written and spoken English. IT Knowledge: Highly skilled with Excel and common IT tools. Good negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Skilled at building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers. Analytical skills and problem solving. Effective workload planning, respect of deadlines, ability to define priorities and manage stress. Cooperative approach in working with others.
