For our Client, Italian branch of the Japanese Group worlwide **leader in designing, manufacturing and sales of control valves for industrial, power and oil & gas market**, for its Italian headquarter is urgently looking for a:

**PURCHASING SPECIALIST

**Posizione**:

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities, reporting to Supply Chain Mgr**:

- Contribute to accomplish the appropriate purchasing strategies for the different materials to avoid critical issues in supply chain in the short, medium and long term, according to the defined standard costs;

- Contribute in accomplishment of the annual/multi-year purchase budget;

- Guarantee the achievement of the targets throughout a continuous surveillance, reports and analysis;

- Strong expertise in buying mechanical components, semi worked goods and machinings;

- Good knowledge of Far East market for buying;

- Ability to understand market dynamics, the technological trends and the main business indexes;

- Continuous monitoring of MRP demand plan & forecast for business needs;

- Ability to negotiate agreements bringing competitive advantages, reducing risks, ensuring stability and continuity in supplies and meet the demands of the business;

- Expertise in scouting new suppliers, modernly organized, for direct and indirect material in purchases at company;

- Qualitative, quantitative and economic optimization of the purchases process: timings, quality / price ratio, volumes, KPIs, estimates, specifications, contracts, price lists;

- Ability to share expertise and practices onto the purchasing team.

**Requisiti**:

It is also required a good competence in **machining** in the national as well as international area mainly in India or in the South East Asia.

**Excellent knowledge of English; **Indian language will be a strong plus.

Proven leadership, ability in tactical and analytical negotiating skills, attention to details, team building and excellent verbal, written and relational communication complete the requirements.
