WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The FEA-Virtual Analysis Specialist is responsible for performing simulations to validate components and / or systems using FEA tools.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a member of the Small & Medium Tractor PV Virtual team, the main responsibilities will be the following:

- Support from concept phase to final virtual validations the development of mechanical components and/or systems for Small &Medium Tractor programs

- Perform structural (linear, non linear, dynamic) calculations using FEA tools or Hand calculation and interpret critically the analysis results

- Perform advanced fatigue analysis (Time domain, frequency domain) using FEA tools for fatigue

- Provide design proposals to Engineering team to improve or optimize the structural behavior of components/systems

- Write reports for summarizing the analysis results

- Support various structural tests including durability tests, bump tests

- Perform correlation between analytical and experimental results

- Support/develop new FEA analysis/methods to support Tractor development needs

- Create/support Virtual Validation Plan for a specific project and work in collaboration with Technical team/Engineering and PLPV (with a robust "3 Legs Approach) to develop an Integrated Validation Plan (from concept to development, validation and the final verification of subsystems, systems and complete vehicles).

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Master Degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, or equivalent by experience.

- 5+ years of professional industry experience in automotive or aerospace industry

- Knowledge of structural analysis and mechanical systems

- A background with agricultural equipment is desirable

- Knowledge of surface mesh preparation using Hypermesh would be an advantage

- Knowledge of, Nastran, Abaqus, Virtual Lab, Ncode or other similar commercial FEA solvers.

- You like challenges and are good in problem solving

- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a global team

- Good Knowledge of English (both verbal as written).

OTHER INFORMATION:

- Eligibility to work in Italy

- Full clean Driving License

- Ability to travel around the territory, travels occasionally required (Italy and abroad) with some over-night stays
