Overview The Data Intelligence Unit is looking to incorporate a new Python Developer (Data Analyst) to expand the team with a contract depending on the level of experience. The candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of a growing in-house code base, support monitoring and improvement of data pipelines and automated processes, as well as work on the development of new web-based applications for both internal and external clients. Role and Responsibilities: Monitor daily automated job logs and ongoing improvement of processes. Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions. Depending on background/experience, the candidate will also be involved in the analysis and development of quantitative models for monitoring financial metrics, portfolio simulations, and production of reports. Develop and refactor legacy Python code to ensure it follows modern principles and best practices. Contribute to the production and maintenance of technical documentation. Provide support for spot requests. Other tasks as assigned. Requirements: Must have: Knowledge of Financial Markets. Fluent in English (speaking and writing) and Italian. Prior experience in similar roles (1 to 5 Years). Those with Intermediate to Advanced Python skills and Pandas, NumPy, etc. SQL and MySQL. Great communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proactive and attentive to detail. Nice to have: Knowledge of gitlab/github. Prior experience with Plotly Dash. Familiarity with Software Development Processes and Methodologies.
