The person should carry on the following activities: Manages QA/QC department Interface with Client representative for QA/QC Matter Coordinates QA/QC Engineers, officers, Coordinators, Inspectors at field. Cooperate with Procurement Department reviewing procured material ITP Cooperate in the follow up of the Material Inspection Activity with project Expeditors Ensures compliance with Client requirements both of the activities and of the QA/QC Management system. Coordinates training on QA/QC issues and perform (or assign resource to perform) basic training as well. Produces/Develop documentation with regards to QA/QC in the SOW activities such as: Project Quality Plan / Objectives (with support/approval of Corporate Quality management) QA/QC procedures, Method Statement (QA/QC Part) and Quality Control Plan (QCP). Develop Audit Plan – Survey the correct development of Welding activities by exercising control on the Project Welding Coordinator / Engineer. Implement Corporate guidelines related to Reporting and feed-back, Auditing and inspections. Check the correct collection of records to achieve mechanical Collection and form QAQC part of the Project Final Dossier. Requirements: The candidate should have: A bachelor's or equivalent degree in Engineering (better if in the mechanical field) or related discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of project experience in the oil/gas industry. Five (5) years experience as QA/QC Manager. Technical certifications such as ASNT, AWS or ASQ. Fully familiar with the requirements of ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems and able to develop, maintain and implement a QMS in accordance with that standard. Experience on large-scale oil & gas and/or petrochemical capital / EPC projects. Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication skills. Job Location: Iraq J-18808-Ljbffr
