Quality & Compliance External Manufacturing EMEA Self Care Lead (Hybrid)

**The Quality & Compliance External Manufacturing EMEA Self Care Lead in the Make Quality EMEA Self Care EM team provides Quality & Compliance leadership in the management, deployment and implementation of Q&C initiatives to assigned contract manufacturing sites engaged in the production of J&J products.

This position is **hybrid**: both based in Pomezia - Santa Palomba (Rome), Italy and remote.

**What will you do

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the assigned EM(s) portfolio against the acceptable GMP and applicable ISO Standards (i. e: 9001; 13485)

ü Manage quality issues: lead escalations, review of deviations, out of specifications, non-conformances and other critical issues; follow up on resulting CAPA's and action plans

ü Assure continuous improvement process of the External Manufacturers through critical metrics and Management Action Plan

ü Collect change control related information from EMs, evaluate proposed changes, collect R&D, regulatory and procurement assessments, prepare action plans and follow up

ü Review complaints, support of complaint investigation, follow up of EMs action plan resulting from complaint investigations

ü Review stability data, follow up on action with the assigned EM(s)

ü Lead and follow-up on the implementation of the different QA projects/new WWSP (Worldwide Standard Procedures) at the assigned EM sites

ü Take part in the implementation of different QA projects/new J&J standards at a regional and global level

ü QA support in Business Continuity Plans / Reformulation / Cost Improvement Projects

ü Support Supplier Reliability Initiatives as agreed with line manager and Q&C Projects' leader

**Qualifications**:

**What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Science, or related fields

ü 4-5 years of experience in a Q&C or QA environment with experience in the consumer sector being a bonus

ü knowledge of EU, FDA and ISO regulations

ü Ability to adapt to a changing environment and strong analytical and problem-solving skills

ü Customer oriented and pro-active

ü A hands-on mentality, demonstrating autonomy and showing the ability to balance expectations and requirements of different collaborators, prioritizing work and meeting clearly defined deadlines

ü Self-starter: takes initiative, creates a result orientated environment

ü Strong project management competence and process-oriented approach towards excellence

ü Fluency in English is required; Fluency in additional European languages is a plus

ü IT literacy, E2E process orientation
