The company employs almost 2000 people worldwide (Europe, USA, Asia). Position: European Quality Assurance ManagerOur client is seeking an experienced and dynamic European Quality Assurance Manager to lead, strengthen, and enhance the company's quality system across its European operations.
This role requires solid managerial skills and expertise in quality management to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.
The position is based in the Milan region (Italy) and reports directly to senior management. Key Objectives:Ensure Operational Excellence and Compliance: Implement and manage robust methods to enhance quality, safety, and hygiene standards while ensuring full compliance with regulations and client expectations. Unify and Strengthen the Quality Team: Proactively manage and structure the quality team to optimize individual and collective performance and establish a culture of excellence. Support Industrial Transformation: Lead cross-functional projects to upskill teams and actively contribute to the modernization of tools and practices. Establish Strong Management Discipline: Ensure strict adherence to procedures, clarify roles and responsibilities, and guarantee each team member contributes effectively to achieving defined objectives. Main Responsibilities:Leadership and Quality Strategy:Define, implement, and monitor the quality policy in compliance with ISO 22716 and other relevant regulations. Oversee performance indicators and ensure the effectiveness of quality processes. Team Management:Effectively manage and develop a team of professionals across 3 countries, ensuring alignment and performance excellence. Conduct regular individual evaluations to assess and improve performance. Clarify team roles and responsibilities to maximize operational efficiency. Foster a collective dynamic focused on accountability and commitment to quality objectives. Process Optimization:Review, adjust, and tighten existing procedures to ensure flawless execution. Manage internal and external audits with precision and coordinate corrective actions (CAPA) with a focus on risk prevention. Supervise deviations, quality crises, and product recalls while maintaining a high level of responsiveness. Qualifications:Skills and Competencies:Managerial: Proven leadership with natural authority to structure and unite a team around ambitious goals.
A rigorous and disciplined approach to uphold internal and external standards.
Excellent listening and communication skills to engage teams and drive necessary changes. Technical: Expertise in ISO 22716 standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Proficiency in document management and risk analysis (FMEA). Behavioral: Assertive leadership with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding and highly regulated environment.
Analytical mindset and proactive in driving continuous improvement initiatives. Education and Experience:Master's degree (Bac +5) in Industrial Quality, Chemistry, or a related field. At least 5 years of significant experience in a similar role with confirmed managerial responsibilities, ideally in the cosmetics or pharmaceutical industry. Why Join Our Client?
