Quality Assurance Specialist (Distacco USA) Purpose of position, responsibilities and main tasks Oversee, verify, and implement the Quality Management system.

Keep the documentation system up to date, working with other area supervisors to write Work Instructions and Quality Forms, verifying and implementing them as needed.

Cooperate with QAM to investigate and resolve Customer Complaints.

Train new employees on GMP/HACCP/Internal Procedures.

Support QAM during Audits/Inspections.

Assist in maintaining Company certifications (BRCGS/FDA/ORGANIC/RA/RSPO).

Control instrument calibration.

Manage and oversee the Pest Control program.

Assist QAM with the implementation of R&D/Quality software such as IBPM.

Verify compliance of raw materials by checking external lab reports and ensuring adherence to the Analysis Planning.

Conduct periodic facility inspections/Internal audits to ensure compliance.

Guarantee the compliance of finished products.

Support Quality Inspectors during daily activities such as sampling of raw materials, ball mill preparations, and shipments to customers or external labs if needed.

Specific requirements for the position Degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Food Technology, Agriculture, or equivalent with at least two years of experience as a Quality Control officer.

Basic knowledge of Chemistry and Microbiology.

Proficient in spoken and written English (minimum Level B2).

Ability to coordinate groups of people.

Ability to interact with customers, suppliers, and operators.

Note: Italian contract with an initial three-year secondment to the US plant.
