Purpose of position, responsibilities and main tasksThe Quality assurance specialist is in charge of the oversight, verification and implementation of the Quality Management system.

Activities / Main tasksTo keep up to date the documental system, being able to work with other areas supervisors in order to write Work Instructions, Quality Forms, verifying them and implementing them if needed;Cooperate with QAM to investigate and solve Customers Complaints;To train new employees regarding GMP/HACCP/Internal Procedures;To cooperate and support QAM during Audits/Inspections;To cooperate with QAM in order to maintain Company's certifications BRCGS/FDA/ORGANIC/RA/RSPO;To keep under control the instrument calibration;To handle and oversee Pest Control program;To help QAM with the correct functioning/implementation of R&D/Quality software such as IBPM;To verify the compliance of raw materials verifying external lab reports and ensuring the following of the Analysis Planning;To be able to carry out periodical facility inspections/Internal audits ensuring the compliance of the facility;To guarantee the compliance of the finished products;To be able to support Quality Inspectors during daily activities such as sampling of RMs, Ball mill preparations and shipments to customers or external labs just in case the lab requires it.

Specific requirements for the position

Titles and prerequisitesThe Quality Assurance Specialist must have specific training in science proven by a Degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Science and Food Technology, Agriculture and specific training on the standards of Quality and HACCP_HARPC proven to be an experience of at least two years in the role of Quality Control officer;Basic Chemistry and Micro knowledge;Language spoken and written English (Lev.

B2 minimum).

Soft skillsAbility to coordinate group of people;Ability to interact with customers / suppliers / operators.

Note: Italian contract with an initial three-year secondment to the US plant.
